NEW SONG from the limes
So, this time of year inspires a truly embarrassing level of sentimentality in us and we wanted to present a holiday song as a gift to you. But, finding something that would knock Michael W. Smith's Christmas record (the new one, not either of the first two) out of my iTunes “most played” proved harder than anticipated. Instead, we decorated Orouni's acoustic demo of “City Lights” with synths and sticks and bells, like one of those silvery aluminum trees that my sisters found so cold and un-American.

“The Fresh and French Tour 2007”
From December 1st through December 19th, the webzine Le Mag Indie Rock is featuring interviews with 19 French groups and/or artists; interviewing and posting a rare or unreleased track. On December 20th, they will make the entire compilation available for download. The Limes were the first group featured. David Simonetta was interviewed on December 1st and offered The Limes track “The Snake”.

All members of The Limes assembled for the first time in Durham, NC for three extraordinary weeks of writing and recording. Sideshow entertainment included hamburgers, air hockey, French wine, and the occasional snake.
